*Every day in Oklahoma 147 babies are born – 6 of these are born to children – that’s 2,190 babies born to mothers under 18 years of age each year.

*Every day in Oklahoma 171 allegations of serious child abuse and/or neglect are investigated – 35 of which are confirmed to be abuse and/or neglect – that’s 12,775 confirmed cases of abuse and/or neglect each year.

*Every day in Oklahoma 59 children are arrested for crime – 2 of those are for a “violent” crime, such as rape or murder – that’s 730 children arrested each year for violent crime.

Novo Ministries is striving to bring change to the lives of inner-city girls and boys, but we can’t do it alone. We want to partner with like-minded churches and individuals to impact these communities. Currently, we have over 100 volunteers serving with us but we need SO many more! We need individuals that have a vision, a passion, and a burden to reach at-risk boys and girls who live in under-resourced communities and who may have never heard the gospel of Jesus Christ! How can these children experience genuine life change without hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ? These children could one day become one of the statistics that you see above -IF they don’t hear the truth... please DON’T let that happen!

We are asking you to not only become involved in our weekly after-school programs, but to also become committed to reaching the children of our inner city for Christ. We need volunteers now! We have set some dates in the following months in which we are welcoming visitors to come and view what we do on a weekly basis. Below are listed several dates and locations which we hope that you will take advantage of to come see what God is enabling us to do!
